Five Minutes of Breathwork That Reset Your Afternoon
The afternoon slump is not a personal failure—it is often a nervous-system signal. Before you reach for another coffee, try five minutes of intentional breathing. Box breathing (inhale four counts, hold four, exhale four, hold four) tells your body that you are safe enough to focus.
Sit tall, soften your jaw, and breathe through the nose if comfortable. Repeat four to six cycles. Notice shoulders dropping and thoughts slowing. This micro-practice is a life solution you can use in parking lots, offices, or kitchens.
At Ripple Effect Yoga we pair breath labs with gentle movement so skills become embodied. Explore our Happiness Program for a full curriculum.
